And about time too. Great guy, great drummer, his playing really elevates the band (any band for that matter, I liked what he did with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, Uriah Heep, The Firm and Gary Moore as well). Best thing they could do and a no-brainer.

I love his perfomance with AC/DC at Donnington, great drummer.
I've seen them live 4 times with Rudd, he always played Thunderstruck in a horrible way. Cant' wait to se them this summer.

I saw The Firm live.  They were actually pretty bad, and the only thing that made the night worthwhile was the incredible rhythm section they had in Franklin and Slade.

Well, with Old Sloppy on guitar, no wonder!  And as great a singer as Rodgers is, his performance suffers quickly if he is not in a musical setting where he dominates songwriting and song choice, Queen was a disaster too (and not because he couldn't hit the right notes!).

Always liked Slade's work with Manfred Mann's Earth Band. The man swings.

There he is. And do watch out for the unknown AC/DC fan from Liverpool. Plus some rather impressive tom-toms. Size does matter, at least with AC/DC.

Looking at the totally mixed audience getting off you have to admit that AC/DC have become a worldwide brand and staple with mass appeal through all ages, music tastes, genders and ethnicities. Remarkable for a band that has so steadfastly refused to ever change, follow fashion or compromise.
