Title: 1980's Gibson Futura........Headless Prototype Sold By Gibson.....
Post by: Grog on August 03, 2023, 08:54:40 AM: I've had a 1985 Gibson Futura in my "Land of Misfit Toys" for aprox 25 years. It was supposedly designed to be a headless guitar but marketing didn't like it so they added a headstock, creating a confusing model that didn't sell.

Recently, Gibson sold a headless prototype for BIG Money & it sold quickly......... Who would have thought? Trogly, Dave's favorite blogger even did a video on it.........

Hopefully he'll go to a taxidermist and arrange to have himself stuffed and put on display.

He's a vlogger, but only in conjunction with his guitar flipping business.

A true headless four string would be cool also………….

It would look nice as a headless 4-string.
