Haha!
There are no truss rods. The necks are very stiff, due to the Purpleheart stringers. They are also a bit larger than usual. I find that a fat neck decreases the chance of carpal tunnel syndrome.
You see, he's a doctor too.

Wish used to charge $100 a string , I suppose that’s a bargain .

It will sell. Some people are stupid enough.

I guess it's "machine your own neck plate" too.

Is it just me or does this one just not even have the usual charm. I miss the days of asymetrical organic body shapes and acoustic guitar style floating bridges with no intonatability. The exotic wood accents, 5 strings, black hardware on natural (mostly) maple and square shape just come together to create a paradox of shitty Bo Diddley and wannabe boutique.
My favorite is the numbered list of caveats in the description.

It looks better than most of his stuff. Too bad Bo Diddley is gone.

We used to have a great little used shop here , and one day I walked in and spotted a Wishbass . It was ugly . And incredibly primitive . I had heard a lot about Wishbasses (almost all bad reports) and it did not disappoint . The neck was like a baseball bat . It was fretless . I’ve never seen another bass finished that poorly . And ugly .
The sticker price was also higher than a new one .
It sold within a week .

Devo might endorse it - if it didn't look so organic, perhaps a silver fin? With his do-it-yourself approach, he could at least send a spray can with it.
