My first bass was a Kay, first amp was similar to that, a Univox.

I had mine from 1967-2014. Sold it to my guitarist because it was a better fit for him than for me in today's world. (I had the caps replaced about 5 years before that.)

But those old Bassman heads could get PLENTY loud.  It was 50W on tube steroids.
