I think you might miss the all 3 0n setting.  Mud plus neck will have some 60 cycle hum.  I know i would miss it. Also i would think about 2 stacked knobs so you can get alittle of this and a little of that.  I went with that on this bass (plus an emg preamp which is  not really necesary)  but i love being able to control how much of each pickup i use  IMHO

another option is to go with the dano hodad setup.  same rotary setup as above but the switch gets in all three.  if you want i can take some pictures of what the cavity looks like....

Oh yeah you mean in the diagram that exiledarchangel posted! Yes that is what he said too.

But Kenny sent me a drawing which does feature the all pickups on option.

Rough drawing, which is why I didn't post it... pretty much exactly what Rob spec'd, using three of the four sections of the switch...

The father of our ex-guitarist helped me out too.

He came up with this drawing. Now even a dummy like me can do the wiring  ;)

That is a 4 pole/six position switch in the diagram, I thought you had 2 pole/six position switches available only?

edit: damn, just checked again your first post, you are right. With a 4pole/6position swith, pickup combinations are endless.
