Not having gotten a Gibson Continental V bugs me to death - every now and then I still google for one, but the same old hits crop up showing it as deleted. Someone somewhere somehow must have gotten one though AND WHY THE HELL HASN'T HE SOLD IT TO ME YET!!!

My mind is full of projects, stopped only by empty pockets.

Where's the biscuits...? I can't have tea without biscuits...

Paraphrasing on "Exiled's" thoughts - my shed is full of projects, stopped only by time limitations (& empty pockets), oh yeah, and the garage, the loft, the lounge, the kitchen, the laptop... (fade to black...)

As cliched as the saying is, sound really is in the fingers.  I sound like me no matter what I play and no matter what I play it through.

Almost all contemporary blues bass players sound the same to me. I'd really want to hear something new. Like someone playing with a pick, for example. Or have a unique style.
The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023
