No, just some cheap tricks.

Done except for color sanding/buffing and setup tweaks.  9.5 lbs.  Balances well on strap and knee.

That's cool. The edges look to have an angle to them, not entirely unlike an SG / EB0 / EB3, but more subtle?  it's hard to be sure from the pics.
Basses: Gibson lpb-1, Gibson dc jr tribute, Greco thunderbird, Danelectro dc, Ibanez blazer.  Amps: genz benz shuttle 6.0, EA CXL110, EA CXL112, Spark 40.  Guitars: Danelectro 59XT, rebuilt cheap LP copy

Thanks!  Pretty much the same as my Grabber, which is similar to SG/EBO contour.  Haven't been able to catch the light to show it off as well as this shot.   A lot of routing and rasping involved.

That catches it well. That's nice!

Agree!  Has the best of both there.

Thanks, guys!  I'm really happy with this one so far.  I like the looks, playability and sound...and that I got it done.  Probably never would have built it if I hadn't sold my Hamer.  Looking forward to building another.

MAX Special, barely visible, and REV42 living in the high rent district of Hamburg.

This one will be going there, too...once it actually exists.

Building these things in PhotoShop is a lot quicker than RealShop. Color will be Cardinal Red.  Body will be basswood or maple to get more top end sizzle and bridge pup may move closer to the bridge.  Neck dive not a problem with strap at 11th fret.

I'm fixin' a hole where the rain gets in..........cuz I'm built for a kilt!

Thanks, guys!  I'm digging it.  Sounds great and plays really well but my fingers are getting old.  Time to trade them in for a new set.

Here's one of the Phantom IV clones I'm building.  High Mass bridge, ThunderBucker 'S' and ebony board.  Rotosound PSD strings.
Weight 8.5 lbs, no neck dive!

Case by Flambeau, it's a double scoped gun case.

The next one is a closer replica of the original, 2 pickup with bridge cover, Vox style headstock, wacky switch, etc.  I'll keep that one and possibly sell my original.  They're getting pricey.
