Title: Watt's new "Dan" bass
Post by: Barklessdog on January 29, 2009, 03:33:35 PM
Saw this on his MySpace page

Sez he got it already modded, from Dan who gave it to him- looks like two LP pups?

Why didn't he keep the mudbucker? It wasn't doing any wrong in the place it was.

I'm thinking: Fralin/RS Guitarworks pups - made to sound like a 60's T bird, but in a stock humbucker shape for some reason, look the same and Watt is on record as loving those old bird pups

Why did someone Photoshop that first pic so the snapshot is B&W?

Just heard back from Watt, the bass came the way it was in the Pic, no mudbucker. They are Fralin pickups and he is thinking of changing them. Definitely going to change the bridge, thats a given.

He said he is thinking of using Bill Lawrence L-90 pickups
