My first build from 1981. Not a lot of reference material available then I just built it using my intuition. Obviously lots of Entwistle/Peter Cook influence.

What a great looking bass! Sounds perfect for you too. I think the teachers didn't understand the importance of the joinery of Fender and Gibson designs.

Are all those sounds with both coils? How's the coil tap on that pickup?

The grin is a bit of amp and pickup. The Dimarzio Model G has about a 14k resistance so it's pretty hot, oneof the reasons that it is my favorite pickup next to 60's Thunderbirds. There's a reason BC Rich put them in early builds.
