Well, I gotta say, $150 isn't bad for the bass and case.  But man, it is kinda....well...weird looking!?!  Maybe it would grow on me if I saw it in person in a different color.  That yellow really sucks!

Scott, if you buy it, you'll just have to repaint it in a Sumo theme.  :)

That would work great for vintage sound, especially with the loincloth serving as a mute. :o

Bill, I passed on it it was a great deal but I really want  SD Curlee with the double cutaway body, I don't think I could ever grow to love that  Sumo body !

Only Uwe could have looked good with it. I just can't see you rocking on a Sumo!

The sumo wrestler in the picture is actually American! It's Musashimaru who was from Hawai'i and attained the highest rank of yokozuna.

Och aye... but look at the small print, Scott...

Yep, it's Manchester... but not Cheshire, England... it's New Hampshire USofA...!

That could even be called "reasonable driving distance" from you, right...?

Which came first, these or Hamers, or do we go for an earlier Gibson body shape...?

Ken I bid on it but lost while chatting with my wife in the last seconds about upping my bid. Went for 5 bucks over my last bid, man I hate that.
