I'm waiting for him to include the power amp. That way you'll be able to plug directly into the cab. Shouldn't add more than another 30-40 lbs. to the bass. And with the proper reflector, you'll be able to give yourself a tan while you play. At least until the bass goes up in flames.

That was funny.  I have to admit, though, I kinda did a double-take at first having recently seen this jazz-box with a built-in tube preamp:

If they just put a lightweight power amp and a couple of small speakers in the instrument case, they could probably cut a deal with Sears & Roebuck for distribution
