New member introduction
« on: January 27, 2013, 06:34:50 AM »
Hi folks

I found this site while searching around on-line for info about my S.D.Curlee bass....
Nice place you have here ! I will definitely be scrolling around in old threads, probably do a
lot of lurking, as I generally don't have too much to say !
Either way, thanks for having me
cheers
Howard aka Godfather

Welcome aboard!
I briefly had possession of an SD Curlee I picked up here before sending to a friend in Texas. It was an early one with a single, big brass covered pickup. It was a terrific sounding bass! Wish I had it!

Welcome! I was always intrigued by S.D. Curlee's. I remember when They came out I was working at the House of Guitars in Rochester NY, I could have bought one for peanuts then. I'm still looking for one..........................priced right of course ;)

Welcome, Howard.  Don't mind the odd tribal customs here.  Just don't go bad-mouthin' squirrels or T-birds and you'll be OK.

We all say something here all the time without having really anything to say.   The one should not inhibit the other. And then there are always "rescue topics" like tanks, aircraft, WW II, cars, pets, Ritchie Blackmore, schoolyard shootings and the love that dare not insert its name wherever or whatever ...

Welcome aboard! As someone who has participated in various bass forums over the past 6-7 years, I can safely (?) say that this is one of the places that I call home!

Don't forget that pictures are greatly appreciated! Don't hesitate to ask questions re: posting, etc.
