I just had to register and say that looks great!  Reminds me of John Cipollina's guitar.

Cool looking and a creative solution. Reminds me of a Burns Bison, in a way.

You did good on that poor bass, amen! Burns was my thought too.

Does everything have to go back to anal sex?

Anal sex with cats is just not right and against nature. Even if they are large. What are you trying to tell us, John?

I knew there was something not quite right with him the moment he showed us his gizmo ...

Nice job.

What had the pre-owner lurking in that hideous cavernous hole?

I too wonder about this.  That looks too big even for an IBanez ATK triple coil pup.

Could have been made as a test bed for pickups.

Maybe he put a small TV there just to watch soap-operas or oprah during gig breaks.
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

it had a model one in the front and 3 di marzio j pickups in the back passage.i was not greatly impressed with the sound.hey yes indeed it was inspired by john cippolinas guitar, a shot of it on the cover of a man record called maximum darkness.the bulk of the hole in the back was filled with a mahogany block .the motherbucker in the back has 2 humbuckers in it which i have wired in series and measure 20 k ohms.adds some nice mids to the sound as the front pickup is all bass and a touch of treble.i would put up some sound cllps but i dont know how..
Louder bass!.
