sure you have, Dave. that was that white Vantage on ebay about 2 years ago. it was broken in half and stapled back together. i bid $50 & lost.the guy who won the auction emailed me that he only wanted the case and sold me the bass for $40.after i glued it back together there were a few chunks of wood missing around the crack and the ends of the V were all messed up. looks like it was smashed Pete Townsend style. but the neck was perfect. so i just stickered the crap out of it.then like 20 coats of polyurethane, to keep 'em from peeling up.the pickguard is held together with stickers but i added a bunch of screws. i posted a pic somewhere here but didn't start a thread about it. the best $40 i ever spent.i got all the stickers for free,my drummer gave me a set of "Blue steel" strings that i've never liked before,but for some reason sound great on this bass.and the DiMarzio pup was in my G3 before i found an original.
you would not belive how good this piece of crap sounds. i think i wanna get one of the Epi V's now.

this show was so much fun! i even got to sing "Sonic Reducer" with one of the other bands.
