Let's talk about the funniest/weirdest/oddest songs you ever heard.

How many songs about passing wind have been done let alone having been done by a band with such a huge stature as Genesis? Tony Banks wrote it as a joke and as a way to try out a new setting he discovered on his keyboards that made this weird farty sound.

Here's a few:
Sia's "Buttons" - Cute, bubbly pseudo-weird... (embedding disabled-so you have to double-click on it to view)

Download's "The Eyes of Stanley Pain" - A catchy-hook-with-pop-sensibility kinda weird...

Irene Moon's "Carl" (starts about 1:00 in) - Perfectly normal...

Cibo Matto - Birthday Cake
Live in NYC with Sean Lennon on bass

The rhythm section is the best thing about that song. The rest of it makes me want to run away and hide. The the hell is Cibo Matto?

This is circa 1985 or so. I've read that Tiny Tim tried to pass it off as Santa having taken the unfortunately named diet pills that were fairly new at the time (Aides, if I remember correctly). I'm not buyin' it... At the time, a lot of people still weren't as aware of AIDS as in the last 15 years. Still offensive, but maybe not quite as much as if someone tried releasing this a few years later.
Edit: Ah, it was Ayds. They look like Caramels!

Too bad that I can't find a clip of it on Youtube but King Missile's "detachable penis" should be in this list.
Anyway, here's GnarKill with "Mustard man". GnarKill consists out of Bam Margera, his older brother and CKY drummer Jesse Margera and his childhood buddy Brandon Dicamillo.

And more from the Margera world of insanity: CKY with "Santa claus is coming"

And to close it all off, here's Barnes and Barnes with "Fish Heads"

This song always makes me picture the worst dancers I've ever seen. Yee-haw

It's just goofy, not really worthy of this great thread, but not worthy of starting a new one about mildly goofy songs either.
Here's another Classic vid of a whacky number--SHOES:

Juvenile humor, I know. I luvvit!

I recently heard on the radio that a group of scientists tried to create a song that no one would like by using elements of music that peopl hate. The results (and the song) are on the following page...
