Gill does a fine job, but his rendition is closer to Glenn Frey than Randy Meisner. There was a vulnerability to Randy's voice no one could match.
Rumer did a lovely, very subdued version, but Randy's original is of course untouchable. And she withstands temptation to out-falsetto Randy at the end.

He could have easily soared in with his pristine falsetto at the end, but he's a consummate gentleman and nice guy.
