Welcome man, why don't you tell us some more about that Epi EB0 with the extra pickup? Seems interesting! :)
Music was better when ugly people were allowed to make it.

hi!
that extra pickup is gretsch filtertron.
pickup impedance is very low if we compare it with mudbucker impedance.
gretsch pup add some point to the mud, nice vintage sound, especially with flats and varitone(chicken head knob)on.

Nice basses and welcome!

Do you have a favorite or one you play the most?

Yeah, interesting upgrade on the Epi. Your work or someone elses?

Why the Gretsch? Why in that position?

A sound clip would be great!

hello!
this instrument was very,very cheap.
modification was my idea, but my friend done work.
why gretsch...hmmm...it looks cool!;D
in that position because i dont like too much highs from near bridge pickups.
that position takes off some mud but without adding clicky highs.
it works great with onboard handmade varitone.
i try to record some soundclips.
regards!

+1

I like what you did with that EB0. The way you describe it makes perfect sense to me.
I'd love to hear some samples too.

Is that a Filtertron (guitar pickup) or a Thundertron (bass version)?
