Title: Building a Simple Electric Guitar
Post by: Electro Dale on December 31, 2010, 05:30:27 PM
This is a tutorial I did last year on another Forum showing how to build a simple Electric Guitar using as many simple tools as possible.  Many people who had very little skills at building joined in and built their own guitar.  There are over 200 pictures in this and a few that don't belong, but they ended up in here some how. The Guitars I chose to build were patterned after a 1957 Combo 800, one a 6 string, the other a 12 string.  I built almost every part on these including the replica HS pickups and tailpiece with bridges.  Most all of these parts were made from aluminum which can be cut on a bandsaw with a wood cutting blade.
Hopefully you will enjoy these pictures from raw wood to finished guitars... ;)
