Kings of chaos - new supergroup
« on: September 28, 2012, 02:36:52 PM »
Listening to the Deep Purple tribute album Re-machined ( http://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/music-bookazines/classic-rock-presents-re-machined-a-tribute-to-deep-purple/ ) I also dicovered a new supergroup that, i think, could be pretty interesting...or not?....:

I have nothing per se against a supergroup but this reeks of hype and cash-in. And Hughes, for all his musical qualities, is excited about something one day and bored the next, about as steady as a glowworm on coke.

If I remember correctly, the made-for-tv "supergroup" was tried before - also with S. Bach.
Here's how you know you've got a trainwreck of superegos's on your hands: Ted Nugent was a calming voice of reason in that group.

The ridiculous hairdo band!

Glenn Hughes is No1 with his weird comb-over. And Matt Sorum is a close second (didn't he have a poodle-afro?) Steve Stevens is runner up with his Nixx Sixx anno 1984 black whig.

Desperate Hairdos - wasn't that the title of the second Eagles LP...?
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...
