Along with many other people, I've always liked Farrah a lot.  The last I heard it sounded like she had been making progress.  It's too bad things have changed.

I'm seeing conflicting stories on this now, although none of them are really very good.

Yeah, now they're saying there's hope, although it still sounds like she's in critical condition.

I just read that the cancer had spread to her liver.  I'm sure more details will follow.  I'm sure even today many still remember her mostly from "Charlie's Angels" and the famous poster of her.  But she proved she was no acting lightweight in "Extremities," a role in which she gave an extremely convincing performance.  Not that I don't like Kate Jackson or Jaclyn Smith, but I've never seen either of them give a performance like that.

Looks like Farrah's out of the hospital and looking forward to spending Easter at home.  :)

Now where is that Tshirt of her I used to have? Hope she has a lot more Easters ahead.

I just read in the newspaper that she just weighs 86 lbs now.

Anal cancer has to be a horrible way to go. from what I was told its totally preventable.

Maybe the spread of it is usually preventable with early detection, and paying heed to risk factors might help prevent getting it, but I find it hard to believe that the actual cancer is totally preventable. Correlation is not causation.

86 pounds, that doesn't sound good at all. Hope it's not true.

I wish the 86 lbs statement wasn't true, either.  I originally read this in my local newspaper, but have now found an ABC News article saying the same thing.

Well, even in her healthy years she was bordering on the anorectic and the "diet of Granny Smith apples" she propagated at the height of her career always made me wonder. Granny Smith apples are not a wholesome constant diet, it's starving your body while eating fruit ...

So I just hope her current emaciation is not quite the bad sign it seems to be.
