He was the first Japanese eBayer I bought a bass from, about 12 years ago.  Nice to see he's still around.

If the shipping wasn't a killer, I might waste my money on that one.  Pretty.

I like that headstock!

Looks like it's better made than an actual Gibson.  If I was on the market for an LPB this would be a contender.

Same here. I bought my Greco Tbird from him.

I think I bought my scroll bass from that seller years ago, if his name is Michael.  One of the better transactions I've had.

There was a guitar years ago with a similar shape put out under the Aria name:

Great looking top and sunburst on that bass.  8)

A couple of years ago someone over there had listed a light metallic blue Greco Les Paul bass with THREE of their Thunderbird pickups. it went for some good money but I bet it was worth every penny.

I've owned a short scale Greco Les Paul like that, but with a conventional Gibson style headstock, and honeyburst finish.  Was an 80s model.

This one looks much nicer.  Same wacky headstock though.

^^^ I've bought from that ebay seller too in the past.  All good.

Very similar to the one I owned, other than the headstock

A couple of years ago someone over there had listed a light metallic blue Greco Les Paul bass with THREE of their Thunderbird pickups. it went for some good money but I bet it was worth every penny.
Back in November 2006, RVL(in another forum..pit), pointed out one at Ishibashi for about $200 and then the gas for those started. Silverburst, black, purpleburst, and a purpleburst covered with stickers($90 on yahoo Japan auctions) came here. The pickups made all of them worth the $$$. Be advised the necks are so thin/fast that standard gauge Roto's hurt them. I had to go to 40-60-80-100's and then changed brands to an even lighter tension(E is a 95 now).

Add FretsOnTheNet pickup rings to them and the chromitis is soothed.
Here's the RVL one and a black one I had Guitar Shelter(Japan) go buy and ship here.

This one was $60.46 plus $110 shipping. NOTHING wrong with it except stickers but I left them on and added a few after this picture was taken. If you ever do buy from Japan, they will do insane discounts a lot of times for a "not perfect" finish on a bass. I guess the "roadworn" or "relic" thing hasn't caught on over there.

I never met a Greco I didn't like.
