i think you could do 'most' of that stuff on a single six string guitar. like he seems to be doing.

The luthier that does most of my bass work has made one of those harp guitars for a local player.

screwing around looking for harp guitars i found an interesting site for Muriel Anderson http://www.murielanderson.com/ and http://www.tierranegra.de/main_en.html
a group from Germany she has been touring with.

i also found, on her website, some pictures of her playing with Les Paul and Chet Atkins so the lady has some credentials
