The poor thing looks like someone started an autopsy on it and left it on the table.

I'm quite sure we've discussed this "invention" before.
Not a pretty sight if you ask me.

The Entwistle Explorer looks a lot prettier...

That guy has been trying to sell that bass for a while on Phx Craigslist. He's out in the far west valley and sells (or tries to) other guitars and basses with different ideas. The woodwork usually hasn't looked to match his asking prices IMO, but then I've never seen one in person just going by the pic's.

Hate to knock his initiative or ingenuity- I'm sure that took a lot of doing.  But it kinda seems like a great solution to a problem that I didn't know I had.  (or more directly, don't have).  I want to use different basses of different sizes, shapes, pedigree, etc... because they all sound, feel, and look different - and change is a fun part of the creative process!

They should shut down all links to that dimension, and quick, before anything else manages to seep through...  :o

Yep. I want different basses to sound different, not one to give me every sound possible.

Just shoot it ( or me! )

Let's see one bass with 50 sounds or 50 basses with different sounds?......................

50 basses...................
There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to feel you deep in my heart
There was nothing in the world
That I ever wanted more
Than to never feel the breaking apart
All my pictures of you
