love em, thanks for the links. I have one sovjet bass already in my collection but that one needs to be fully restored.

From what I've read about most Soviet guitars, especially on the Cheesy Guitars (http://www.meatexz.com/cheesyguitars/) site, the prices seem way high if you're expecting a playable bass or guitar. OTOH the value as oddball collectibles might be about right to someone.
