Yup, that's how (active) RDs sound. Love it or hate it. To me they will always sound like a valiant 9 volt battery giving its best. 30 years ago.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

lol....it's kinda interesting....not sure I would play it on a gig....need a grabber and a ripper I think..

Good choice, the G 3 is a pleasantly alert, snappy baby without ever sounding tinny. No great fan of the three single coil look, but wen it sounds as good as it does, who am I to complain?!!
