As you may know I am quite impressed by the 60's Thunderbird type humbucker made by EY Guitar Music. Some call them Chinabuckers or HongKongbuckers.

The same company also makes a humbucker with large pole pieces for a Thunderbird (very similar to the DeCola pickup)

It might be worth a try? They're only $71.50

Well, thanks to the kindness of the fellow forum member hollowbody, I am now a happy owner of a set of DeCola pickups...

I'd like to thank Uwe for his incredibly kind offer as well. Hopefully I'll get to buy you a drink/meal/both the next time I'm in Germany, whenever that ends up being.
