Gibson's new hire
« on: March 06, 2019, 09:13:28 PM »
Saw this posted over at TDPRI. Mark Agnesi is the guy who does the YT demos for Norman's Rare Guitars. He's going to Gibson as their Director of Brand Experience. The description of his new job sounds good to me.

Anyone want to apply for his old job?

That's very good news and they seem to keep on coming. The development the past 4 months has really surprised me to say the least.

A poster at another forum, praising the hire, thinks it's a brilliant move by Gibson. Agnesi's own personal instagram has over 200K followers.

I looked at his instagram under his #makegibsongreatagain tag. Lots of Gibsons and some choice humor. For example

LOL
The guy who bought the same bass twice — first in 1977 and again in 2023

Now Norman's has a job posting for the position Mark is leaving.

Charisma is required, so I'm out.
