Chris,
If you're still looking for info about Acoustic gear, I'm picking up an Acoustic 408 cabinet (4x15! ::)!) on Thursday the 13th, if I can get the old band van running to haul it in! I can snap a few pics and give you some details if you want. I'm kind of stoked about it, they come up every now and then but shipping something the size of a fridge is another story! This one is local and should go nicely with my 370 or 450 heads.

Cheers!

Scott

Back in business. Supposed to do a made in the USA 360 reissue.
I bought one of the 20 watt import bass amps and it's cool for what it is.

Chris,
Are you still looking for pics and such for your article? I picked up a 408 cabinet last weekend, Four 15's in one cab, ridiculously loud! I can take some pics and give you any info if you need it.
Let me know,

Cheers,

S.

Anybody regularly hang out at the Acoustic Forum have a status report on the U.S. made 360 reissues?

Dave W

Are the US reissues even out yet?

Dave somebody at talkbass says they are taking orders on them but I don't think they are available and there doesn't appear to be any price information available.

The old 360 was a fuggin' monster amp. I used to use a buddys with 2 bottoms, back in the day. It took a bit of getting used to because they were not loud on stage and I was always turning up, I drove our sound man crazy. That folded horn cabinet was louder 100 feet away than it was on stage. They really hit the back of the room well, and they were great for outdoor gigs.

They're apparently still working out the kinks.  I can't wait to check it out when it's finally released!
