Title: EB0F project body, what to do?
Post by: godofthunder on March 28, 2023, 07:02:47 AM: This EB0F body will be arriving soon, just what I need another project. I am toying with a full restoration or just turning it into a ratrod. The only decision I've made are keep it short scale and include a fuzz or distortion circuit. Other than that I'm open to ideas. https://i.imgur.com/yJztSZL.jpg

Try to find a Maestro Fuzz.
Make a neck. Maybe use a spokewheel trussrod to avoid having to cut out a trussrod cavity at the top nut?

Finding the bakelite covered mudbucker is going to be a challenge.
Maybe you can have one printed in 3D?

And it looks like the body that Scott scored matches yours better than the pics I posted. Since yours does not have the shoulders at the neck joint area?

It must be more pronounced in the first year than it is in the last.

If you go for the bakelite cover, it' s easy enough to build, by glueing two sheetets together. Broken bakelite radios are ample in supply, both black and brown🙂

All examples I've found online look a bit hand made, with nothing quite square to anything else. How were the originals made?
