I'm not convinced about the groin injury, I know that Hitler had an eye injury in WW I after a poison gas attack (an experience that made even him reluctant to use poison gas again in WW II though Germany had it of course stored and produced to "retaliate" just in case, but the Allies never used it either).
I thought Göring was the one with the groin injury. He was shot in the groin by police during a failed coup in the twenties in Munich and subsequently became a morphine addict because they sedated him so much (morphine wasn't considered addictive in the twenties) with it while he reconvalesced. Ironically, he only came off morphine after he was captured by the Allies and jailed in preparation of the Nürnberg trial. The groin injury was rumoured to have caused his obesity in later years, but it did not keep him from reproducing.
Eva Braun was known to make off-hand comments about Hitler's male prowess and performance as a lover with her entourage, she never mentioned a one groin loin.
