Its only problem is the weight. In its original state it is already a heavy bass. But the two lo-z pickups add some more substantial weight.Many times I have contemplated to take 10 mm off the body to lose some of the weight. But it has not happened (yet).

Funny how some small bodied basses can be so heavy. I had a Hamer B12S (short scale 12 string, LP double cut body) that weighed a ton. All maple. I bet that Pearl is a fun bass.

With a 12-string a short scale makes perfect sense. I wonder why not more brands did it.
