It was indeed a purple Crown Royal sack with enough coins inside to provide balance (it took pretty many coins). Dave and Gary, your memories are impressive. One night I changed it to an odd-ball Egyptian clay head and it bruised my knee and shin by bouncing off them. I went back to the purple bag, the coins didn't hurt.
