My favourite named place has always been the "Pidley-cum-Fenton Social Club", in a small hamlet betwixt the villages of Pidley and Fenton, in Huntingdon/Cambridgshire borders area...

When you drive up I-71 from Columbus to Cleveland, you pass a sign that says "Entering Wayne County".

Well, now, if we're talking about towns, there are two small towns in northern Iowa off I-35, Manly and Fertile, home of the (probably apocryphal) wedding announcement, "Manly Man Marries Fertile Woman." They probably headed to Climax for their honeymoon.
