It looks a little foolhardy to me.  Life is full of enough risks already without taking one which is unnecessary.

There's not much risk about this so called stunt.

If the driver sticks to the right speed and hits the brakes at the marked point, he knows exactly where the tank will come to a halt.

Ok, I see.  I'm not too familiar with tank driving.

Me neither, but I don't see how that's different from hitting the brakes on a car or bike.

Just do it once without the group of people.
Then set them at a few feet from the place the tank stopped.
Do it again. Et voila.

I draw attention to the fact that this is of course a German product - all good tanks are unless they are either Russian or Israeli - and as such infallible. Wenn der Leopard bremst, dann bremst er. All 62 tons of it, not much skidding there, I tell you. Even for our beloved neighbors to the west.

So, they decided to buy some tanks?  Only 75 years too late.
Cheers

Uwe... I want the sticker...!

(once saw one that said "I brake for butterflies")

Mark... yesterday morning I passed a wreck of a car in slow traffic with markings on the side like a WWII aircraft a-la missions or bombs dropped, only it had a variety of animals, cyclists, all sorts of things... rows of them... I just wish I had a camera handy... a little searching found this...

presently on ebay... :vader:

:) yes, we recently changed from bikes to tanks. About time.

And we have no nuclear weapons from the US, however they will not be taken away by the US and they will be modernised soon. Three statements which were made by Dutch government.

In the Netherlands I'd think the greatest concern lies with the greening of Greenland... :-\
