You don't see much of these on Ebay. Maybe something for Uwe's collection? well, he probably already has it.

He has one. I don't think it's one of his favorites.

Asking price is way out of line (IMHO).

what do you think is a normal price then? I am not interested, just curious.
Considered the condition of the bass and the fact that it is pretty rare, the 1050$ he is asking is not so out of line I guess?

I expect that this bass will have some serious neck dive though. Long neck, leight weight body. But I am not sure.

used to be a lot of people frowned on them as they do not have a true mudbucker. Not afan favorite of the EB series, but Uwe find the good in all of his misshapen creatures.

But I like my EB-4!!! Unique voice among all SG shaped basses, transparent, yet warm and ballsy. The only drawback is the limited magnetic field of the pole pieces leading notes to drop out if you bend them. And the ungainly neck body joint which makes playing in higher registers awkward, but all long scale seventies EBs have that.
