I'm sure some of you other oldtimers remember Rick O'Shay comics that ran in the Sunday funnies in color & weekdays in B&W.
Well I just found this book with some of the weekday stories & ordered one:
http://www.amazon.com/Rick-OShay-Hipshot-Me-1959-1977/dp/096269990X
Hipshot Percussion was one cooool gunslinger.
The wit & wisdom of Stan Lynde in this comic was brilliant!!
Sure would love to find a book of the Sunday ones too.
What's your favorite comic from the newspapers? This is mine!

I always liked Rick O'Shay in the Sunday Tribune when I was a kid. The Christmas strip was usually a different side of Hipshot that I always remember.
