That is awesome - I would play with that for hours!   ;D  Love the sound effects.

Thanks to my mom who had stashed some of this stuff, I still have some of the toys/games that I played with as a kid- big Matchbox collection, Erector sets, a (what kid doesn't like to play with fire?!  :o), D&D stuff...  Now my sons can enjoy that stuff too.

Just bought them a starter Scaletrix slot car set for Xmas.  It's pretty cool!  I had some garage sale Aurora Thunderjet set when I was young, and had a blast with it.

Glad you are doing well, and sorry for your loss.

Just gross enough to appeal to young boys...and grown men. Grossness can be a major sales factor for the male gender.

In keeping with true LBO tradition here's the same toy presented with some of the usual diversions we have here:

I graduated from the Cleveland Art Institute with a major in Industrial Design and got hired by a Toy Invention Company out of Collage. They started the toy invention business having invented a lot of the classic toys and games like Rock Em Socken Robots, Simon, Operation, Ants In Your Pants etc.

Yes I have always been a toy inventor and my new employer does the same.

And, coming from the expert, is an RD then a good industrial design or not?

Sorry to read about the rough times John
But also good to see you've been picking things up again. It takes quite a bit of resilience. But you've proven to have plenty

Happy new year!

So sorry about your loss John. Losing pets just flat out sucks.

Congrats on the job though! It's scary out there. You're a lucky guy. I was just saying to someone yesterday - working for the man has its ups and downs! Steady income is good for sure.
