Another Top 10 list

A couple of the entries are sure to rile up a few people here. As always, one journalist's opinion.

Top 10 Douchiest Guitarists of All Time

I'm sorely disappointed that Yngwie is only number 9.

Glad to see that John Mayer is on there.  But Satriani speaks way too eloquently about Hendrix for me to dislike him.  Also, Coldplay ripped off one of his songs.  I do think he got paid well for it, though, once the legal machinery was set in motion.

I'm very proud, because I've actually heard of more than half of them!

john mayer should be number one of that bunch and any other list with douche in the title. he is trying to out run his initial poppiness fame but not doing a very good job. his attept at rock/blues legitimacy with pino and some drummer was sad and obvious.

plus he's a tabloid 'star'. ;D

I really liked his John Mayer Trio record.
That drummer is not some drummer but none other than Steve Jordan.

Wow, how'd they forget that douchy guy who played in Rainbow and Deep Purple?  ;)

I watched a Guitar Center Presents with Joe Walsh - kind of the anti douche.  Came across as very decent, humble guy - seemed happy to be enjoying life sober.  You have to wonder how he survives being in the Eagles.  The performance was spot on too - a bunch of studio cats complete with three back up singers.

I saw an interview with Walsh where he says he opened a show for Black Sabbath and Ozzy.  He said it must be true, because he has a poster that says so.   ;)

He said he decided it was time to sober up when he came out of a black out while on a plane landing in France and had no idea of how he wound up there.

They didn't play in Rainbow, but I'll say Bolin is a douche for overdosing and depriving the world of his talent.
