We've finally come out of our six month super extended hybernation. We recorded this song in january. But shortly after the recordings we decided to take a short break because life got in the way for some of us.
Saturday we're doing a gig at a festival. So this week we're getting back in shape.
To celebrate our awakening we've finished one the songs we recorded (in january)
No budget. So no fancy video... :-\

I like this song Rob!! Always like your bass sound on these recordings as well.

Nice... what were you using...?
-
It's the Greco Thunderbird. With 130 E string (or actually B) Tuned to C.
I used my Ampeg v4b and a DI. But in the mixing process the Ampeg signal wasn't very useful because I had dialed in a little bit too much grit. So we used the DI signal and added a virtual bass amp.

Ta Rob... works beautifully, imho...

I also like it quite a lot.

Sounds great! First thing I thought was 'how did he get that sound out of a low impedance LP?!' Greco makes a lot more sense.
