Hörnisse' new Framus
« on: April 11, 2010, 06:44:03 PM »
Picked up this Framus Nashville for Robert yesterday. It's pretty cool and is a very pretty bass. I like the 4-position switch a lot, and love how the body is constructed. It has a split in the wood behind the neck and haven't determined what's going on with the tuning pegs yet because two overlap, which is strange because the screw holes line up. Haven't had a chance to try it out yet (spring and motorcycle season is heavily upon us) though but I bet it sound nice.  CHeck it out!

Didn't we just have thread on that?  The bassist from Mothers Finest played the exact same bass?

Pretty funky - would you check out those tuners!

I can't thank Denis enough for grabbing that for me!  Looks like a little elbow grease and it will be back up and running again.  Looking at that old thread made me want to get one.  Thanks for posting the pics Denis.

There's something about switches like that one which falls under the category of "bright shiny toys"...which we all love.

Hey congrats. Pretty cool. Especially because I just found out -a couple of days ago- this was the bass Wyzard was using one in the old Mother's Finest days :toast:

Cool bass, congrats. I've seen one like this here, in Germany. It has a different bridge design, with a mute assembly not unlike Rickenbacker's.
