This squatting concept seems to be getting some good traction on the social media forums, no pun intended. If it catches on, some enterprising soul could capitalize on an entirely new toilet design perhaps.

A good read is the recipe to a happy bowel.

Women only have issues - and they regularly  do - on the toilet because the whole concept is uncomfortable to them, hence this gigantic industry on female bowel improvement. Plus they have this thing about it being the end of the world if they "miss a day". Nonsense, I sometimes need to go three times a day or for two or even three days not at all. Nothing to worry about or start throwing laxatives and detoxifiers into you. It'll all come out in the end.

Whether you sqat or not, free your mind and your anus will follow. And have something to read with you.

A quick search showed me what you mean. Older toilets in Korea being floor level porcelain bowls. I guess they were ahead of their time. I'm sure the kimchee helps also.
Other than squatting, keeping a good balance of bacterial gut flora is probably more important. Even more so when you have to counter the negative effects of GMO foods and glyphosate from herbicides. I like kombucha for those reasons.
