interesting bridge on an EB1

Looks tasteful, I agree, and the EB-1 has enough room towards its butt to feature it well.
We've taken too much for granted ... and all the time it had grown ...

What's on the back (other images posted on ebay)...?

I noticed that.  Battery enclosure?  Active?

I've posted it before, but at least a year before the Cream reunion, I did an EB-1 project, and used a Schaller 460 bridge.  It turned out pretty nice.

There's a nice MB1 and possibly a coil tap switch...

Why would you want to put a preamp on a Mudbucker and risk breaking the Strategic Arms Limitation Act...?

Interesting that there's no mention in the auction of all the mods. At least he doesn't claim it's all original.

This is probably a 1970. The reissue didn't come out until then. The s/n could be as late as 1972 but the lack of a Made In USA on the back of the headstock probably means this is from early 1970.
