It may be sort of silly but I would shoot someone for this bass

A little awkward to play, and if it has a form fitting case, I wouldn't want to carry it around in public.

The perfect bass for a gig at Bob's Country Bunker.

Shouldn't it be a sixer?

I'm going to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume the bass was modeled after the 4 shot Colt Cloverleaf. Otherwise the whole concept is completely ridiculous

Nope... double-double-barrel...

Been there, done that:
Someone please call REVOLVER
(the German AOR/light weight hard rock band and Scorpions producer Dieter Dierks protegés from the early 80ies),
they've been ripped off belatedly!
Here, even the bassist (not just the guitarists) plays one. I have a hunch that there must have been a luthier in Nürnberg at the time (that's where Revolver came from) who specialized in that shape. I'm not sure it did their shortlived career any favors.

As usual wiff fffeapöns, ze Tshörmens wäre zäre fürst.
Why did these guys here never come up with the same idea? They proabably realized (or received good advice) that a knotted-blouse-"southern-belle-meets-Charlie's Angel"-blonde works better on the screen!
