Very cool, I bet in person it's even more dramatic.

He should get back to work on that reunion Roxy album that has been in the can for ages!

I appreciate Wyatt's own stuff and even own his last CD, but maybe this song should have been left alone. The Monkees excepted, the only credible version I know is the Neil Diamond original.

But what's the connection here to Eno or Roxy, Herr Fertig?

Only the title of the song relating to new material and the irony man in a wheel chair singing it.

I, as well enjoyed Wyatt's last CD. I always found his vocals very squirrelly. He was an amazing drummer before his accident.

Matching Moles, you say?

I always liked McCormick's playing.  Love the 801 albums.  Live and Listen Now are still some of my most abused guilty pleasures, as a recovering proggie.

Yeah, me too, I like the later Tim Finn 801 stuff as well, Listen Now. He must of been 13 at the time?. The Finn brothers are another guilty pleasure of mine.

I struggle with the Finns. One part of me marvels at the quality of songwriting and the well played and produced tunes but then there is just emptiness for me. I can hear it is all there but I just cant really get any enjoyment out of it.

I'm a thousand miles away from it but I do get over to Sydney about  once a year. I was there on a boat on the harbour for the 2000 NYE celebrations. They lit the Opera house up with this kind of thing back then too. And yes it is very specky , especially from the water.
