What a list!
A few years ago, I used to drive pretty long distances so I started downloading bass-related podcasts as I was (and still am) new to the instrument.
The podcast with Dan Lakland and Joe Osborn (Basscast #25 from 31-Jul-2006) blew me away.
I had no idea that Joe Osborn had done so much work on so many great tunes...and between the two of those guys, there seems to be very little ego getting in their way.

Not 100% sure that this is Joe Osborn - but it sure sounds like him. Whoever it is, it's not Danny! Great bass line!

That is a great bass line! And anything with Susan Dey in it extra-fine in my book. :thumbsup:

There may be more prolific players -- think of all the experienced A-list session players from recording centers all over the world. But I don't know of anyone with more pop and crossover country chart hits.

Lee Sklar is another bassist who remained quite busy throughout his prominent career.
His list is quite staggering, although I don't think he did any Partridge Family...
