Jukon Speaks
« on: December 11, 2014, 08:51:28 AM »
Just wanted you to know that we just released a new record with my band, Jukon Speakers, from Umea, Sweden. I'm using a Gibson Ripper from -74, which I bought with no hardware, except the bridge. In the Ripper I slipped a modern Gibson Thunderbird pup. The strings are, as always, Rotosound. This is it:
Hope someone likes it!

Very good and expressive.
It's not those who write the laws that have the greatest impact on society.  It's those who write the songs.

Very nice. Does sound a lot more like a T-bird than a Ripper.

Great to hear you come out of the cold...!

Bass has a great growly sound...
The random mind of a Silver Surfer...
If research was easy, it wouldn't need doing...
Staring at that event horizon is a dirty job, but someone has to do it; something's going to come back out of it one day...

 Cool! I like it  :)
Resident T Bird playing Drag Queen www.thenastyhabits.com  "Impülsivê", the new lush fragrance as worn by the unbelievable Fräulein Rômmélle! Traces of black patent leather, Panzer grease, mahogany and model train oil mingle and combust to one sheer sensation ...

That was cool! Uh, is there somewhere I can buy a copy of this (Itunes, CD baby, band website, etc)
as long as etlling me that doesn't violate some forum rule or something.
If it was good enough for Danny Bonaduce, it ought to be good enough for fake bass players everywhere!
