I remember being told by a salesman that the Duke pickup was made by Schaller.

My '81 alumi-Kramer had Schaller P/J pups in the same creme color used by DiMarzio. Who's idea was it to use that color anyway?  :puke:

That's the same color as the Model G, GoT might sue you....  ;D

The Schaller on the Dukes was two Schaller J P.U.'s joined, I've got the wiring diagram on my other PC and can send it if you want, i think i found it on the site you linked, somewhere. The nice thing is that each J P.U. has two coil side by side, so you can wire the Duke Humbucker in a lot of ways.

I think tht's the bassbucker, the Duke P.U. has the J "ears"  for the screws

No, I've never had a bassbucker, i've only heard it somewhere on the tube, somebody, on this forum, say it should be very similar to DiMarzio's Model G

I picked one up a while back but I haven't put it into anything yet.  It may go into my Ripper alongside an overwound Ripper pickup.  I'm still on the fence about doing it, but whenever I install it I will file a report...

Early Kramers had the "Model G" looking one. Later ones had the "dual J" style.

I have a Schaller model G look alike in the parts box, never used it, looks well made.
