Jim Lea(d) Bass ...
« on: February 18, 2014, 02:57:04 PM »
I just heard this in the office and it drew a smile to my face, reversed roles ...

And who said you can't get an EB-3 to clank?

NF is one of my favorite Slade albums. Quite possibly one of the best sounding records of the 70's ( (that no one has heard of) Jim's lead bass work is all over this disc, worth a listen even if Slade isn't your thing. Clown noses wtf were they thinking??????? So many already considered them a joke. It pains me even now to look at the cover. As for EB3s and clank sure why not? I have never found them to be a one trick Jack Bruce mudfeast pony. It takes some effort not a plug in and play P bass but you can get lots of great tone and yes treble out of a EB3!
