Brad's being modest his booth was great.
I posted earlier about 100 basses at this show and I might be a little biased but mostly overpriced
guitars.

His basses are REALLY well crafted

My 63 P had a small shim but it looked like some kind of fiberous, brown material.
my 62 had a thin shim that looked like a manila folder.  I suspect they stamped out whatever material was available in the gauge they needed.

About the same as Thomas Jefferson and John Adams both dying on July 4, 1826.

However, I hardly even know what to say anymore about all these rock stars dying so close together.  The words fail me now.

This is a Google Translation of the intro Makes as much sense to me as the characters

"Now, what was or not." Continued will keep in a little place.
"Initial type?" And it will you and try to reform the difference of "Unit 2".

The biggest difference is the fact that of course Pick up.
Early type of PU I is believed to familiar existing type that was used in the "Les Paul Bass," "Triumph" has been diverted. However, this also means that "humbucking" "low-impedance", the flow was changed to soap bar type that has been newly designed for the "LPS" while inheriting, and. Compared the difference in the sound, you'll blame chord towards the new design PU is stretched well modern impression ... Nanoha sound missing (laughs). The initial type There is also anxiety to the neck "of Thomas stick flat", in the Unit 2 by had stretched "D'Addario of round 045-100", which unlike natural .... To compare, it does not say anything at the moment of the "PU yada".

Looks to me like your chops for composition and the obvious building skills have exploded Carlo.
But I do miss the trees ;D

Other Bass Brands / Brad Lowe Orlando Guitar Show
« on: January 24, 2016, 12:59:52 PM »
More Strats than leaves on the ground and maybe 100 basses in all but I was able to meet Brad Lowe and his wife at his booth in Orlando.
Had a great chat and both lamented Carlo not being there.

But most importantly I had a chance to see Brad's work and his basses are impeccable.  Price points low and all of the touches and care you expect from custom builders anywhere.

Really innovative modular construction lets you configure the bass to your specs.

You bet! That video was from 1975, so despite his young-looking face, he must have been at least 30. He was one of the early members of the Hollies.
Yup he's 70 now.

It's a positive rather than a negative, Dave... too many people avoid the simple checks that would show such a thing... same thing took my granddad at age 74...

Just go and get checked guys!
Frank Zappa same thing.
