 These are 9 ply neck thru, China production basses, it's really quite nice and the Blue is to my eye much more attractive than the purple, kinda glad I passed on that color. A good shot of the finish is not going to be easy, but in person it's quite beautiful.

That makes sense. The Bolin logo on the headstock looked like a Cort one to me in the video. On the other hand, it could be something else entirely. Not sure that logo says Bolin either after a second  inspection.

Slash's new blues standards album, Orgy of the Damned, is fantastic.

 no disrespect to Miles Kennedy but having guest vocalists really seems to bring out the best in Mr Hudson
